Okay, guys, sure you can do the traditional
thing like going down on your knee, but the most important
thing here is the right time and the right place and
if you get those two things right, then you won't need
to worry about details such as going down on one knee...
When you propose marriage you are creating one of the
most special moments of HER life, I say again, "of
HER life", a special memory she will repeat in
her mind fairly regularly and you need to get it right.
No pressure here, of course... ;-)
Right, now to get it right. First thing
to remember is it is all about the woman. You are creating
her memory and what you, the guy, would like, would
want, would prefer is irrelevant. You, the guy, don't
matter here. It is all about her.
It doesn't matter how long you have known
each other. Possibly you've been living together for
the past ten years or longer or maybe you have only
met the day before. If makes no difference. If this
woman is right for you then you will know it and you
will also have a pretty good idea of her desires, likes
and wishes, and if you don't have any idea then maybe
you should reconsider this proposal.
Now to the moment. You need to plan this
moment. There are ingredients you know will make her
happy, ingredients you know that are guaranteed to put
a broad smile of her face and make her eyes twinkle
with pure happiness. You are the main ingredient. A
proposal only really requires the two of you. But you
will need to consider where you intend to propose and
how you intend to decorate the moment. Location is important
as is the dressing, if the moments requires that kind
of prop. By dressing, I mean, candle light, flowers,
food and champagne and, of course, soft music by HER
favourite artist... preferably ballads - but that's
just me! Sorry! This is her special memory you are creating
and she may love heavy metal... ;-)
But that is the the point. You are planning
the moment you propose as the most special memory for
her...
If you are a woman planning to propose

doesn't care if you propose on the beach, in the air,
on a mountain top or in a restaurant. Once he sees the
twinkle in your eyes and the smile of happiness on your
lips, he too will be happy and will remember the moment
forever. It is all about the woman...
